Is anyone using the latest 2014 version(s) of Vue? I want to create realistic, beautiful landscapes, especially forests and flowers. Would Vue be the right tool?
If, in case, do you export the complete scene, to be rendered in C4D, or how do I integrate the two applications? I want to add my characters and 3D objects to the Vue scene, in one or another way. If Vue renders fast, and can export 3D coordinates that I can import into C4D, that also would be a solution, so that I could use the Vue lanscape as an animated background in C4D. According to my experience, when making a detailed landscape in C4D, rendering slows down to an unusable speed. And I haven't found any way to reduce the number of polygons depending on distance from the camera. Such an effect would probably speed up rendering (?) -Ingvar. Having used Vue xStream versions 5 and 6 in the past, I can only tell of my experience with these now obsolete versions.
I sold my license when 11.5 came out as I wasn't doing anyhting with it in years, and the cost became too much to keep upgrading. One thing you need to understand is that you don't really export your Vue objects to C4D format. Don't get me wrong.
Vuze Tracker List Downloader on this page. You can do this, but the objects (landscape, vegetation) are more oriented to being rendered by Vue render engine. That's why there is this xStream version.
Basically it is a Vue Infinite package with an additional C4D plugin. You can run Vue as a standalone application (Vue Infinite), but you can also 'import' the Vue scene into C4D via the xStream plugin.
At that point, you're actually working with two packages in one. You have the native C4D objects and you have the Vue objects. When rendering there are two render engines at work.

The native C4D renderer takes care of the C4D objects, while the xStream plugin handles the rendering of the Vue objects. This has some limitation (at least, that was the case in version 6) that post processes (like glow, non-polygon hair/grass. Corel Painter 2015 Brushes Downloads. ) where rendered 'on top' of the final result, and the Vue render engine could thus not 'interfere' with it. So, these post-process steps could not be hidden by Vue objects being in front, etc. Knowing the limitations, and lots of trial and error, this workflow was actually nice to work with. When it worked. In those times there were a lot of crashes, and I mean a lot. All related to Vue and xStream plugin.
