With the help of a beautiful and mysterious foreign agent, Storm chases Volkov’s shadow and uncovers a plot threatening to destroy global economy. There’s a storm front coming!
Four years after he was presumed dead, Derrick Storm – the man who made Richard Castle a perennial bestseller – is back in this rip-roaring, full-length thriller. From Tokyo, to London, to Johannesburg, high-level bankers are being gruesomely tortured and murdered.
The killer, caught in a fleeting glimpse on a surveillance camera, has been described as a psychopath with an eye patch. And that means Gregor Volkov, Derrick Storm’s old nemesis, has returned. Desperate to figure out who Volkov is working for and why, the CIA calls on the one man who can match Volkov’s strength and cunning – Derrick Storm. With the help of a beautiful and mysterious foreign agent – with whom Storm is becoming romantically and professionally entangled – he discovers that Volkov’s treachery has embroiled a wealthy hedge-fund manager and a U.S. In a heated race against time, Storm chases Volkov’s shadow from Paris, to the lair of a computer genius in Iowa, to the streets of Manhattan, then through a bullet-riddled car chase on the New Jersey Turnpike.
In the process, Storm uncovers a plot that could destroy the global economy – unleashing untold chaos – which only he can stop. ©2013 Richard Castle (P)2013 Hyperion Audiobooks.

I'm a wizard. I work out of an office in midtown Chicago. As far as I know, I'm the only openly practicing professional wizard in the country. You can find me in the yellow pages, under Wizards.
Believe it or not, I'm the only one there. With rent past due and a decent meal becoming an issue of some importance, Harry needs work, and soon. Boot.elf Ps2 Download.
A call from a distraught wife, and another from Lt Murphy of the Chicago PD Special Investigation Unit makes Harry believe things are looking up, but they are about to get worse, much worse. Someone is harnessing immense supernatural forces to commit a series of grisly murders. Someone has violated the first law of magic: Thou Shalt Not Kill. Tracking that someone takes Harry into the dangerous underbelly of Chicago, from mobsters. By CptGreedle Harry Potter step aside, Harry Dresden is in town!
This is a fantastic story that follows the cases of advertised Wizard, Harry Dresden, as he protects innocent people from the supernatural and magical things that fill our world. He himself has a curse upon him, and is being carefully watched by the White Council, who regulate wizards and magic. This is an amazing story, perfect for any adult fan of fantasy, mythos, suspence, investigative stories, or even the arcane. The narrator does a fantastic job performing all the roles believably and especially filling the shoes of Dresden.I highly reccomend this story, you will be glad you bought it. By Goldenthreads I had seen the TV series and found it irresistible. The 'haplesss' hero is so much more that he seems, yet, what you see is what you get because of his honesty.
I was really interested to see the books. I didn't know anything about the series. So I got the first book and was not disappointed at all, in fact, now that I have the audiobook too, I can listen to it repeatedly. The narrator is an excellent choice.
The timbre of his voice and his delivery are perfect for the main character and he is very talented at creating identifiable voices for the other characters, AND keeping them sorted out! There are passages with group conversations that are worth replaying. I look forwared to purchasing the next in the series! I haven't checked to see if the whole series is available yet, but one at a time I will aquire them!
