The solution is to load the save into a different version of Light Platinum that doesn't have the glitch, complete the event, and then load the save back. Here's a simple tutorial if you don't know how- Save inside the game, before the event in LP+. Download Light Platinum Final (from above) and move it to the folder Light Platinum Plus is in (if it's not already).
