If the solution posted by Susan R. (below) fails to work, locate the black power down box under the bed. Check the battery compartment and remove all batteries. If batteries are installed they will prevent a full reset of the box. Unplug the power cord, wait 45 seconds and plug the power cord back in to reset the electronic components. Replace batteries. Now that the error has been wiped from the box's memory, you can now synchronize your remote with the power down box using Susan's instructions below.
